Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal information NOVEN collects through this website, why we collect it, and what we do with it. It applies to noven.agency only, not to the systems we operate on behalf of clients under separate agreements.

What we collect

We collect information in two ways.

Information you give us

When you submit the contact form, we collect the name, company, email address, website, budget range, services of interest and project details you enter. If you subscribe to the newsletter, we collect your email address. We do not ask for, and you should not send us, sensitive personal information through this site.

Information collected automatically

Our web server records standard request logs — IP address, browser user agent, requested page and timestamp — which are used for security, abuse prevention and diagnosing faults. These logs are retained for a short period and are not used to build profiles of individuals.

Cookies

This website does not set advertising or tracking cookies, and does not use third-party analytics that profile you across other websites. If that changes, this policy will be updated and, where required, consent will be requested before any such cookie is set.

Why we use it

  • To reply to you. Contact form submissions are used to respond to your enquiry and, if it progresses, to discuss working together.
  • To send the newsletter, where you have asked us to. Every issue includes a one-click unsubscribe.
  • To keep the site running securely, using server logs to detect abuse and diagnose problems.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing.

Who processes it

We use a small number of third-party providers to operate this site and our correspondence. These providers process data on our instructions:

  • A hosting provider, which operates the server this site runs on.
  • A transactional email provider, which delivers contact form submissions to our inbox.
  • Our business email and document storage provider.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not become engagements are deleted within 24 months. Correspondence relating to an engagement is retained for as long as we have a business relationship, and afterwards only as long as needed for legal, tax and accounting obligations. Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected, to have it deleted, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to receive it in a portable format. You can also withdraw consent to marketing at any time without affecting anything we did before you withdrew it.

To exercise any of these, email [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days. If you are in the UK or EU and are unhappy with our response, you may complain to your local data protection authority.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS. Contact form submissions are transmitted over an encrypted connection and delivered to a mailbox protected by multi-factor authentication. Credentials for our systems are not stored in the website's codebase. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures appropriate to the limited data we hold.

Children

This site is intended for business use and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, we will update the date above and, where the change affects how we use information you have already given us, contact you directly.
